Brit Insurance opens new underwriting centre in Reading

Brit Insurance Holdings PLC (“Brit Insurance” or “The Group”), is pleased to announce the opening of its new permanent underwriting centre in Reading.
The Reading team is led by Southern Regional Manager Richard Carter, with Mick Hunter specifically responsible for developing business relationships. It comprises a group of experienced and skilled underwriters, covering all of Brit UK’s product lines, who have come from a broad background and have operated in the region’s broker market for many years.

As with all other Brit UK offices, its ‘trading floor’ area and open door policy provides brokers with a facility to meet with underwriters and clients in an informal and comfortable environment.
